1. Rental Agreement
By completing a reservation with Group Invent (Invent Logistics WLL), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The rental agreement is binding upon confirmation of your booking. The driver must be present at vehicle collection with a valid driving licence. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as collected, subject to normal wear and tear.
2. Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and are inclusive of the base rental rate. No security deposit is required. Payment is due at the time of vehicle collection unless otherwise agreed in writing. For long-term rentals, a monthly payment schedule may be arranged. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the rental start time incur no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of the rental start may be subject to a one-day rental fee. No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full first day rate. Group Invent reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided.
4. Insurance Coverage
All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance throughout the rental period. The insurance covers third-party liability in accordance with Qatari law. The driver is responsible for any damage caused by gross negligence or intentional misuse. Insurance does not cover damage to tyres, windscreen, or the underside of the vehicle unless caused by a third party.
5. Vehicle Use Restrictions
The rented vehicle must be driven only by the named driver(s) listed on the agreement. Off-road driving is permitted only in vehicles explicitly approved for such use. The vehicle must not be taken outside the State of Qatar without prior written consent. The vehicle must not be used for commercial transport of passengers, sub-letting, or any illegal activity.
6. Driver Requirements
The primary driver must hold a valid driving licence (Qatari, GCC, or international) and be at least 21 years of age. Additional drivers must meet the same requirements and be registered on the rental agreement. Group Invent reserves the right to refuse rental to any driver deemed unfit to drive.
7. Liability
Group Invent is not liable for any loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle. The customer is responsible for all fines, violations, and traffic penalties incurred during the rental period. In the event of an accident, the customer must notify Group Invent immediately and file a police report in accordance with Qatari law.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar. This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the rental of the vehicle.
